The following are instructions how to apply for Prospective, Transfer-In, or Current Students

Prospective Students

Instructions to Apply:

 

Step 1

Download, Complete, and Submit via email to admission@ala.edu

or fax to (336) 554-7352

 

Step 2

Submit the required documents

  • Completed Application for Admission (if not online application)

  • Completed Student Enrollment Agreement Form

  • A copy of your valid passport

  • Proof of financial support ($5,000 USD for each 9-week session you plan to attend). It could be student’s most recent bank statement.  If the bank statement is not in student’s name, then an Affidavit of Support Form must be submitted.

  • Financial Guarantee letters from your scholarship sponsor if you are eligible

  • A transcript from a former school or university

 

All of these documents should be translated into English.

 

Step 3

Pay the non-refundable fee of $300.00 or $350.00 

(application $200 and $100-$150 mailing fee depending on country)  

- The online payment vendor will charge a processing fee of 3.9%+$0.30+currency exchange rate.

 

Note:

If a student meets all of our admission requirements, ALA will issue the acceptance letter and I-20. Those original documents and the pre-arrival package will be mailed to students within 10 (ten) business days.

Transfer-In Students

Instructions to Apply:

 

Step 1

Note:

If a student meets all of our admission requirements, ALA will issue and send the student their acceptance letter. The student will use this letter to request the current school to transfer out his/her SEVIS record. Once the current school finishes the Transfer-Out, then ALA will complete the Transfer-In, and issue the I-20. Those original documents and the pre-arrival package will be mailed to students within 10 (ten) business days.
